GDB is proud of its workplace safety record, which includes:

• In accordance with the guidelines of the Workplace Safety and Insurance Board (WSIB), GDB maintains an “Early and Safe Return to Work Program“
• Member of the Infrastructure Health and Safety Association (IHSA), recognized by the Ministry of Labour, Ministry of Transportation, the Ministry of Training, Colleges and Universities, and Workplace Safety and Insurance Board as designated trainer consultants
• All GDB worksites are staffed by supervisors, production, quality control and environmental/safety personnel in compliance with the Occupational Health and Safety Act.
• GDB’s Safety Coordinator is tasked with continually monitoring and maintaining currency of worker training credentials, and company training and development needs/records form part of annual audits and senior management’s quality reviews.
